S402 HAND PIECING (TRADITIONAL)

65.00

SATURDAY OCTOBER 12th 9:30-4:30

TEACHER: PATTYE KENT

You will need to purchase the KIT that goes with this class.

DESCRIPTION: The “9‐patch” quilt pattern was often used as a learner’s project since the 1800’s. The straight lines are easy to work with, but it has enough challenge to teach young and “mature” hands how to piece using only needle, thread and fabric. This class will cover the 9‐patch, on‐point, “scrappy doll quilt” made from Civil War reproduction fabric.

Please bring fabric scissors and a thimble (if you use one). You may also bring a lamp if you’d like to.
